The fond lady of the Kannada cinema industry and media national award winning actress Thara celebrated her birthday in a touching style participating with the poor children and women at Mouna Guru Ashram in Cox Town, Bangalore. The celebration of Thara birthday was also coincided with her silver jubilee years of stay in the cinema. She made debut from ‘Thulasidhala’ of Vemgal Jagannath Rao in 1985.

Thara had triple happiness on Thursday. Firstly birthday, secondly silver jubilee year of her career and thirdly her birthday coincided with her parents wedding day.

Last year Thara celebrated Sri Sathyanarayana Pooja and celebrated the birthday this year she is in to politics. She is an active BJP politician. She missed by a whisker the council seat but nevertheless Thara is extremely happy on her career progress. She is shortly becoming a producer too of a Kannada cinema.

On Thursday morning celebrating birthday in the house and later in the temple she left to Cox Town where Balaji temple had the presence of Thara. In the Mouna Guru Math she mingled with 300 poor children and women cut the cake and offered gifts.

As the day happened to be Surakshatha Din in the morning Thara took time to participate in an even in Cubbon Park. In the evening at Tennis Club she is hosting a party to her friends, family, media and politicians.
